Job Description

John Paul College is one of Queensland’s largest independent Early Learning to Year Twelve co-educational schools. Founded in 1982 as the state’s first Christian Ecumenical school, we have a collective enrolment of approximately 2000 students.

The Opportunity:

John Paul College are currently seeking a supply/relief Teachers to support our Primary, Secondary, and International students with their continued education in the absence of their usual teachers.

About you

Our ideal candidates for these roles are people who are passionate about helping young people learn and have the ability to support ongoing education during unexpected absences of their usual teacher.

Candidates will need to be able to build engaging professional relationships with students and colleagues easily and will have a positive and flexible approach to their role and support of the College.

We are interested in hearing from you if you: 

  • Have previous teaching experience and a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum.
  • Are currently registered with the Queensland Teacher’s Registration Board or are eligible for registration.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Are willing to fully support the Christian ethos of the College.
  • Have knowledge of ICT and the ability to educate and inspire using different forms of technology.
