About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting student learning and wellbeing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- The ability to adapt and respond to individual student needs in a flexible and patient manner.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Knowledge of evidence-based learning strategies and differentiation techniques.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when required.
- A paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Relevant qualifications in Education Support, Special Education, or a related field.
Working Conditions
- The hours of work will be as follows: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:15pm with a 40-minute unpaid meal break each day for a total of 7.6 hours per day.
- The contracted hours per fortnight are 76 hours per fortnight during term time only.
- Rest pauses, Term dates, Professional development days are all detailed in the Agreement.
