About the Opportunity:

John Paul College (JPC) Primary School is seeking a Diploma-qualified Kindergarten Teacher Aide to join our dynamic and nurturing team! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our kindergarten students in a supportive and inspiring environment.
The available position is part-time, working 35 hours per fortnight, with availability required on Thursdays, Fridays, and every alternate Wednesday during term time.

The Key Responsibilities in these roles will include:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to children.
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
- Supporting children with diverse developmental and learning needs.
- Preparing materials and resources to enhance classroom activities.
- Supervising students during play and other kindergarten activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
About You:
We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate individuals who are committed to early childhood education.
Essential Requirements:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting young children in their learning journey.
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card Services, Queensland).
- A valid First Aid qualification.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
