About the Opportunity:
John Paul College is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team at the Early Learning Centre (ELC).
This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the Educational Leader, a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, in a collaborative and dynamic team environment focused on delivering high-quality early years education.
As an Early Childhood Teacher at our ELC, you’ll work closely with the Educational Leader and Educators to develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of our youngest learners.
This teaching model encourages a high level of professional support, shared responsibility, and creative innovation in the planning and implementation of learning experiences.
Together, the ECT team will:
- Design and implement rich, inquiry-based educational programs aligned with best practice and individual developmental needs
- Cultivate a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Engage in reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Mentor and guide support educators within the room
- Uphold regulatory requirements and contribute to the effective operation of the centre
As part of a long day care setting, this role also requires flexibility and the ability to work within the established routines of the centre while maintaining high-quality learning experiences throughout the day.

You will also bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Current QCT registration (or eligibility for registration)
- A valid Working with Children Check / Paid Blue Card
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a co-teaching team
