About the Opportunity:

John Paul College is excited to offer a permanent ongoing opportunity for a dedicated and innovative Secondary School Teacher with expertise in Food Technology and/or VET Hospitality to join us from Term 4, 2025.

We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about delivering hands-on learning experiences that develop students' culinary skills, food safety knowledge, and hospitality industry expertise.

This role will be pivotal in teaching practical cooking techniques, menu planning, nutrition principles, commercial kitchen operations, and customer service excellence while fostering creativity, industry readiness, and technical proficiency in alignment with our mission to Ignite Ambition.

About You:

As a Secondary Teacher at John Paul College, you will be instrumental in shaping the skills and knowledge of our students through innovative teaching and thoughtful curriculum delivery.

The successful candidates will:

• Create inclusive, dynamic learning environments that inspire student engagement and achievement.
• Communicate effectively and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
