About the Opportunity:
John Paul College (JPC) is looking for two Grounds Officers to join our Property Services team at our beautiful Daisy Hill campus.
These are permanent, full-time positions perfect for people who enjoy outdoor work and being part of a school community.
Starting with us as soon as possible, you'll work with our Grounds Manager to keep our campus looking great and help with college events.
What You’ll Do:
Regular duties of this role will include:
Grounds Maintenance:
- Mow lawns and maintain gardens (weeding, fertilizing, pruning)
- Keep the campus clean and tidy
- Open and lock gates around campus
Project & Event Support:
- Help set up and pack down for school events
- Assist with landscaping projects
- Help students, staff, visitors and contractors when needed
Equipment & Safety:
- Use and look after grounds equipment safely
- Follow safety procedures
What We Need:
You must have:
- Blue Card or Working with Children Check (or be able to get one)
- Full driver's license
- Friendly personality and good communication skills
Great if you have:
- Experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds work
- Basic repair and maintenance skills
- First Aid certificate (or willing to get one)
