About the Roles:

John Paul College is currently seeking applications from passionate and dedicated Supply/Relief Teachers who are looking to join our vibrant team on a casual basis during term time in 2026.

We have opportunities across all year levels at the College, including

  • Primary School (experience sought in all primary year levels including kindergarten, prep and years one to six),
  • Secondary School (Years seven to twelve and all secondary subject areas), and
  • John Paul International College (Secondary).

The dedicated Supply/Relief Teachers at JPC play a key role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and supported in their learning journey across our dynamic school environment.

We're seeking qualified teachers who are:

  • Passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a love of learning in our students,
  • Skilled in building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues,
  • Flexible, proactive, and ready to adapt to the diverse needs of our College community, and
  • Committed to creating nurturing, engaging learning environments.

What You’ll Bring:

Essential Requirements for these roles include:

  • Queensland Teacher Registration (QCT)
  • Solid teaching background with strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using ICT and digital learning tools
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with students of all ages
  • Commitment to supporting the values and ethos of John Paul College
  • Classroom management skills appropriate for your preferred year levels
  • IB teaching experience for Teachers in the Primary Years (desirable but not essential)
