About the Opportunity

John Paul College is looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) to lead our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs for Kindergarten and Primary School students.

This is more than a management role – it's an opportunity to shape the OSHC experience for our community. You'll lead a team of educators, design programs that support children's physical, social, and emotional development, and build meaningful relationships with families across our vibrant school community.

Set on 33 hectares in Daisy Hill, our campus offers outstanding facilities and a supportive environment where you can bring your ideas to life.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with purpose: Mentor and develop a team of OSHC educators committed to delivering high-quality care and engaging learning experiences
  • Design impactful programs: Create innovative, developmentally rich programs grounded in My Time, Our Place and John Paul College's values that engage families and foster children's growth
  • Lead operational excellence: Manage enrolments, rostering, budgeting, and compliance with confidence, knowing you're meeting the highest NQF and ACECQA standards
  • Build community: Develop genuine connections with children, families, and staff that create a sense of belonging
  • Drive improvement: Champion the Quality Improvement Plan and foster a culture of continuous development aligned with best practice in OSHC

About You

You're an experienced OSHC leader who is passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and enriching environments for children. You bring:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in education, Early Childhood, or a related field
  • Leadership experience in OSHC or a similar educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, and state regulations
  • Proven expertise in team leadership, program development, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent organisational abilities with experience managing budgets, compliance, and multiple priorities
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certification
