About the Opportunity:

John Paul College is excited to offer a permanent full time opportunity for a dedicated and innovative Secondary School Teacher with expertise in Industrial/Design and/or Digital Technology to join our team from Term 2, 2026..

We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about delivering hands-on learning experiences that develop students' design thinking, technical skills, and digital literacy.

This role will be pivotal in delivering JPC's Technology – Industrial/Design/Digital programs across Years 7 to 12, guiding students through hands-on design processes, digital modelling, fabrication techniques, and the application of industry-relevant tools. Our ideal teacher will develop students' capacity to think critically, solve complex problems, and design innovative solutions, equipping them with the 21st-century skills needed to flourish in the contemporary workforce and the ever-growing technology and design industries.

About You:

As a Secondary Teacher at John Paul College, you will be instrumental in shaping the skills and knowledge of our students through innovative teaching and thoughtful curriculum delivery.

The successful candidates will:

  • Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • A dedication to continuous professional development to remain at the forefront of educational practices in their faculty of expertise.
