About the Opportunities:
John Paul College is seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our dedicated team in our Early Learning Centre (ELC).
We currently have 3 positions available:
- 2 x Full Time (38 hours per week) Educators
- 1 x Full Time (38 hours per week) Lead Educator
All candidates should be available to work full time hours (38 hours per week) Monday to Friday, as you will be directly involved with nurturing positive relationships with our families while communicating with staff and students in a timely and respectful manner.
Responsibilities of our ELC team include
- Assisting with the development and delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Providing children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Working collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participating in professional and personal development. And,
- Promoting the College within the local community in accordance with the vision, mission, and values.
- Lead Educator role: Provide educational leadership, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with educational frameworks and quality standards
As part of a long day care setting, this role also requires flexibility and the ability to work within the established routines of the centre while maintaining high-quality learning experiences throughout the day.

Essential Qualifications for Applications:
- High-quality interpersonal skills and ability to support exemplary administrative practices
- Knowledge and practical skills to ensure ongoing compliance with service policies and procedures in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations
- Educators: Certificate III in Children's Services or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Lead Educator: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum requirement)
Highly Regarded Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working in the Early Childhood industry
- Understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and its implementation in ELC environments
- Commitment to implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
- Professional development intentions for ongoing growth
- Lead Educator applicants: Experience in educational leadership, mentoring, and program coordination
In accordance with current Government requirements, successful applicants must be able to undertake employment screening for child-related employment which include maintaining a positive blue card whilst employed at the College.
